PAYMENT:
Tuition fees must be paid
in full at the time of registration, by check, money order or cash, Master
Card or Visa. A 10% discount will be given to the third and additional
family members enrolled in the same session.
REGISTRATION AND FEES - Tuition costs are listed in conjunction with each course description. Students registering in two Intensive courses in Fall, Spring or Summer, or those taking more than one course, pay only one registration fee. All new students must take a placement exam during the registration period. A $30.00 fee will be charged to those students registering during the late registration periods.
REFUNDS, WITHDRAWALS AND
CLASS CHANGE PROCEDURES
See the School Calendar
for dates. Students must request withdraw at the Administration
Office by the date indicated in the School Calendar in order to receive
a 75% refund of the tuition fee. The $30.00 registration fee is NON-REFUNDABLE.
Students wishing to add or change a course must do so through the Head
of the Spanish Department. Students enrolled in a Conversation class in
addition to a Spanish course (and who pay only $80.00 for the Conversation
class) are not entitled to a refund if they drop it. In the event a class
does not meet the minimum number of six students, applicants will be reimbursed
the total amount paid. Your receipt is required for any reimbursement.
CREDIT / AUDIT
Attendance of 80%
is required to be entitled to take the final exam. Auditors must comply
with all course requirements, attendance, homework and tests, in order
to be admitted into a upper level.
NOTE: Classes are subject to change as deemed necessary by the Permanent Extension School in San Antonio of UNAM. The School, moreover, reserves the right to close, cancel, or split courses.
TUTORING:
The school offers free tutoring
for those students who need additional help in their class. Indivduals
must request tutoring from their instructor or the Head of the Spanish
Department. Tutoring is not meant to make-up for missed lessons.
