A native
to San Antonio, Texas, Kelly obtained a B.F.A. in Theatre Arts from Southwest
Texas State University. Currently, she is pursuing an MA in Bicultural
and Bilingual Studies with a concentration in English as a Second Language
at the University of Texas at San Antonio. She was recently inducted into
the National Leadership Honor Society.
This is Kelly’s second year teaching ESL at UNAM. Besides teaching ESL, she has held workshops in Conversation and Learning English by Computer. She also taught adult ESL for three years at Gary Job Corps Center in San Marcos, Texas. While there, she developed and maintained a language laboratory. In addition, she has taught Theatre and Speech at local high schools.

de San Antonio, Texas, Kelly obtuvo su licenciatura en Estudios de Teatro
de la Universidad Southwest Texas State. Actualmente, está
cursando la maestría en Estudios Bilingües - Biculturales,
con especialización en inglés como segunda lengua en la Universidad
de Texas en San Antonio. Recientemente, fué admitida en
la Sociedad Nacional para Alto Rendimiento en Liderazgo (The National
Leadership Honor Society).
Kelly ha enseñado inglés en el campus de la UNAM en San Antonio, Texas durante los últimos dos años. También ha organizado e impartido talleres de conversación y cómputo para la enseñanza del inglés. Anteriormente, en San Marcos, Texas, trabajó durante tres años en el Centro de Empleo Gary Job Corps Center, impartiendo clases de inglés a adultos. Asimismo, creó y tuvo a su cargo un laboratorio de lengua en el mismo centro. Por otro lado, ha enseñado teatro y comunicación en escuelas preparatorias.
